Serious Drums is owned and operated by, Cory Cameron, a San Diego area drummer. Cory has been performing in the San Diego area with various groups across multiple genres. These groups include: Sleep It Off, The Eiffels, Starsign, Into The Fuzz, Z Matrix, and others. As of 2025, Cory has expanded into teaching his art form to the next generation of drummers.

 

Prior to drumming professionally, Cory was an officer in The United States Navy where he worked as a Surface Warfare Officer onboard various ships.

 

Cory also holds two degrees: A B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Rady School of Business at UCSD.
